I am Hager, an environmental activist from Qena, Upper Egypt, dedicated to empowering communities. I spent three years as a field coordinator with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), working to integrate refugees into Egyptian society.

Currently, I serve as a project coordinator at the American University, where I focus on community empowerment. As part of my role, I developed a three-level literacy curriculum and collaborated with community members holding higher or intermediate degrees to teach it, ensuring the project’s sustainability. Additionally, as a trainer at the Digital Egypt Creativity Centres in Qena Governorate, I empower university students and graduates through entrepreneurship and life skills programmes, with a focus on design thinking.
