I am Karim, an Aerospace Engineer and the Co-Founder & CEO of Green Compass Advisory (GCA), a leading sustainability consultancy in the MENA region. With a deep passion for sustainable development, climate action, and youth leadership, I have served as the Race to Zero Fellow at the UN High-Level Climate Champions Team, where I advanced the regionalisation of the campaign and supported a just transition for the Global South.
I was part of Egypt’s first-ever official youth delegation to COP28 and contributed to shaping global climate policies as a member of the COP27 Presidency’s Youth Taskforce. Recognised as a distinguished participant in Y4S Masdar’s Future Sustainability Leaders programme, I continue to engage communities in Egypt for climate action and empower youth to drive positive change. My work is guided by a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and fostering a resilient future for all.
