I am Maryam, an Egyptian youth advocate passionate about empowering communities through training, advocacy, and project coordination. I have contributed to shaping the youth strategy for ICCROM in Rome, focusing on youth empowerment in the heritage sector, and mentor young people at Utamaduni Heritage Hub on heritage-based entrepreneurial projects.
Currently, I coordinate the Climate Justice Camp at Roots Greenpeace and support building a digital organising platform for Global South advocates. My work combines sustainability, heritage preservation, and youth empowerment to drive meaningful change.
