I am Maysara, Founder of the Ishara Khadrah Community and Co-President of the Mediterranean Youth Council. My advocacy focuses on gender equality, sustainability, and women’s empowerment in my hometown, Marsa Matrouh.
I have led initiatives raising awareness on FGM and child marriage, launched Wud Mustadam to deliver sustainability education to women at home, and developed Marbo3a, a storytelling project that amplifies women’s voices and local creative talent. My work aims to foster inclusive development and empower my community.
There is another possibility for our endeavor to be crowned with something other than defeat, as long as we have decided that we will not die before we try to live.
