Never miss an opportunity because it might take you to a place you would never have even dreamt of!” … is what Yassine Sondes believes in and lives by. Having graduated from a law degree, the 26-year-old Tunisian had never let go of his dream to become an actor. Yet, it is on the social media platforms that he is flourishing these days. The story started five years ago when he launched the satirical Youtube channel “Ti3leh?” (or a frustrated “Why?” in English) with his best friend. “Although we had a pretty original concept -criticizing society in a humoristic way with references to our favourite TV shows like The Office or Friends- we did not expect such a shocking success!” Building on the 20K views of their first video, the duo soared online, signing contracts with world renown brands and producing one short movie after another. But fame is not what matters to Yassine, who says there is nothing more fulfilling than instilling joy and hope in people’s lives.

The young man even started his own Instagram page where he posts motivational videos and raises awareness of mental health and youth related issues. He also promotes all types of opportunities to his community. “Becoming an EU Goodwill Ambassador made me so elated and proud; but mostly it gave me access to such a wealth of opportunities that I can now share with people from my country and my region. And keep instilling hope!
