EuroMeSCo launched The Call for Participants for the VI Euromed Young Researchers Forum. This year the Forum’s theme is “Bridging Divides: Exploring Youth Approaches to Conflict Resolution in the Changing Euro-Mediterranean Region”.

The event will welcome 30 young researchers from across the Euro-Mediterranean region to discuss the underlying causes of emerging conflicts, youth-driven approaches to conflict resolution, the role of young people in peacebuilding, feminist peacebuilding strategies, and the intricate relationship between socio-economic development and conflict resolution.

The Forum will take place on 9 October in Madrid. Participants will have the opportunity to present their research proposals, benefit from capacity building opportunities, access remunerated publishing opportunities and exchange with policy stakeholders and practitioners. They will also be able to attend the EuroMeSCo Annual Conference sessions taking place on 10 October.

The deadline for applications is 18 June 2023.

The Euromed Young Researchers Forum is part of the Euromed Young Researchers Lab, an initiative of the EuroMeSCo: Connecting the Dots project, co-funded by the European Union and the European Institute of the Mediterranean. The Euromed Young Researchers Lab aims to boost the research capacities of young experts across the Mediterranean, give visibility and recognition to their work, strengthen exchanges and stimulate research on issues of common interest.
