TunisiaClosing conference of the MENTOR project co-financed by the European Union
A closing conference of the MENTOR project was organized on the 25th of September 2018 at the Tunis City Hall. The project allowed young people from Tunisia and Morocco to accomplish a professional internship in Italian companies.
This project co-financed by the European Union under the Mobility Partnerships Support Fund (MPF – through the ICMPD) has piloted an innovative approach to circular migration by offering opportunities for temporary mobility and training in Italy for 19 young Tunisians and Moroccans.
Back in their country, they presented the enrichment of the internship for their current professional projects in their country. The closing ceremony was chaired by Mrs. Souad Abderrahim, Mayor of Tunis and speakers from the Italian, Tunisian and Moroccan public and private sectors as well as representatives of the EU and ICMPD.
