The closing conference of the MedMedia project took place on May 8th and 9th in Tunis at the headquarters of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU).
During the event, the results of 5 years of support for the media sector in the Southern Mediterranean region were presented. The second day of the closing conference was also an opportunity to present other projects falling under the same programme and funded by the EU.
The EU-funded MedMedia project aims to create an enabling environment for media reforms in the Southern Mediterranean region. It is part of the €17 million EU programme “Media and culture for development in the Southern Mediterranean” which aims at supporting the media and culture reform processes in the region.
