The Deputy EU Representative to Palestine, James Rizzo, visited Bethlehem University, where he met with Brother Jack Curran, Vice President for Advancement, and university representatives dedicated to providing quality education for young Palestinians. He also engaged with students from the Faculty of Hotel Management in an interactive competition that celebrated creativity and Palestinian heritage.
The visit comes at a time when the occupied West Bank faces growing challenges—movement restrictions, economic hardships, and uncertainty—all of which deeply affect educational institutions and Palestinian students. The EU remains committed to supporting Palestinian youth and their right to quality education, ensuring they continue to thrive despite these difficulties.
