The Young Mediterranean Voices National Debate Forum kicked off in Egypt last week. The online and offline event will last 3 days (30-31 October and 7 November), involving teams from 7 different Egyptian debate hubs that will involve around 100 young participants.

Over 20 debates will be held in English and Arabic that will tackle the following Global Goals : SD4 Quality Education, SDG10 Reduced Inequality and SDG13 Climate Action. It will be an opportunity for young people to exchange their views, to dialogue and to find innovative and sustainable solutions.

Young Mediterranean voices is the flagship debate and Dialogue programme connecting civil society, education and policy-makers across the southern Mediterranean and Europe. The programme provides a pioneering platform to open doors for young influencers to shape policy and media narratives. It is grounded on the positive experience of Young Arab Voices launched in 2011 by the Anna Lindh Foundation and British Council and it benefits from the support of the European Union.
