After a few years break, the EIBMED Conference is resuming in a hybrid format in Barcelona. The conference will centre around leveraging the EU’s Economic and Investment Plan for the Southern Neighbourhood and the Global Gateway strategy to enhance investments in critical infrastructure and regional value-chains.
During the event, engaging discussions will take place on the Euro-Mediterranean partnership, economic integration, and opportunities to boost investment. Two panels will cover topics such as leveraging innovation and connectivity, addressing climate change and water security, and bridging the digital divide through digital investments. Additionally, a last session will explore opportunities, challenges, and collaborative approaches for sustainable growth and development in the Mediterranean region.
Organised in close relationship with the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), the conference will provide a unique opportunity to connect with key decision-makers, including Ministers, EU representatives, partners, and stakeholders to explore sustainable investment, innovation, and economic integration in the Mediterranean region.
