In Nabatiyeh today, EU Ambassador to Lebanon Sandra De Waele joined Minister of Agriculture Nizar Hani to stand with South Lebanon’s farmers during challenging times.
Together, the EU and Lebanon are taking action to expand the National Farmers’ Registry – connecting farmers to essential services, training, and financial support, while giving the government a clear picture of who they are, where they are, and what they need and increase cash support to farmers – 2,000+ have already received $300 each, with 3,000 more to follow soon thanks to EU funding
