EU-funded INTECMED to commercialise key enabling technologies in the Mediterranean

The INTECMED project’s partners met online at the 7th’s monthly meeting to share with each other next steps to move forward the technological ecosystem across the Mediterranean, some of these actions involved the following topics:

– Put special emphasis on building long and meaningful relationships with other stakeholders working on the academia and start-up environment in Spain Greece, Egypt and Tunisia.

– Present the last advances on the development of the e-bazzar platform.

– Conceptualise the Mentorship programme in the frame of the project that will help to foster and develop spin-offs of innovative ideas

The main objective of the EU-funded INTECMED project is to develop an integrated innovation ecosystem at the local level to support technology transfer and commercialization of research results, in order to improve the linkages between the various innovation players, notably the science system and higher education, the government (especially at a local level), the private sector (mainly SMEs), and also the citizens.
