Representatives and partners of the three EU-funded projects InnovAgroWoMed, AQUA CYCLE and CLIMA have met together in Tunis, Tunisia. The objectives of this meeting were to strengthen the synergies between the different projects under the ENI CBC Med Program and to explore the different common axes and characteristics for possible collaborations and to learn from each other’s experiences and good practices.

The participants had the opportunity to get to know each other and to present their respective projects. Each representative got a better knowledge of the priorities, objectives, and state of progress with the aim to explore all possible synergies and opportunities of collaboration between the different organizations.

The InnovAgroWoMed project aims at stimulating women’s labour market participation and entrepreneurship, by harnessing the potential of the agri-food sector and showing a significant level of untapped potential for innovation and growth.

EU-funded AQUACYCLE is set to bring an eco-innovative wastewater treatment technology that will consist of anaerobic digestion, constructed wetlands and solar treatment for the cost-effective treatment of urban wastewater with minimal costs of operation and maximum environmental benefits.

The CLIMA project aims to address the environmental, economic and social problems related to organic waste mismanagement by supporting Italy, Tunisia and Lebanon in developing Municipal Waste Plans while financing the implementation of innovative technical solutions.
