On 5 November at 10:30 a.m., two projects funded by the ENI CBC Med programme – TEX-MED ALLIANCES and STAND Up! – will hold a joint web conference on “Fostering circular textiles and fashion in the Mediterranean”.

The initiative aims:

  • To present an overview of the current challenges and opportunities for a circular textiles economy in the Mediterranean region, both for existing industries and new business ventures

  • To introduce the main activities, best practices and expected results of the two programmes to the general public.

  • To showcase successful examples of businesses and business support programs enhancing transition opportunities to a Circular Economy.

TEX-MED Alliances, “Textile Mediterranean Alliances for Business Development, Internationalization and Innovation” aims at reducing the innovation gap among Mediterranean countries, focusing on three key areas that are crucial for the textile and clothing businesses: Internationalization, Innovation and Circular Economy. The project involves eight partners representing some of the most important textile and clothing clusters of the Mediterranean area in Spain, Italy, Greece, Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan and Palestine.
