Tunisia EU Strengthens Lebanon’s Water Systems

Together with the Ministry of Energy and Water, Ambassade de France au Liban, AFD – Agence Française de Développement, and UNICEF Lebanon, the EU Ambassador to Lebanon inaugurated two water pumping stations in Dar Baachtar and Chekka, North Lebanon. Thanks to solar-powered systems and upgraded equipment, over 16,000 people now enjoy more reliable and sustainable access to clean water. This initiative is part of the EU’s ongoing commitment to supporting essential services and developing climate-resilient infrastructure across Lebanon, making a difference in people’s daily lives.
