EUPOL COPPS organises donor coordination meeting on new Drug Awareness project

The EU police mission for the Palestinian Territories (EUPOL COPPS) organised a donor coordination meeting on a new Drug Awareness project aimed at designing and planning the implementation of a specialised intensive training programme targeting Drug Awareness officers in the Anti-Narcotic department.
 
The project will consist of different programmes, including basic training for those working with psychotropic drug abuse, basic training programme for education and awareness lecturers, specialized training schemes, and continuous plan to develop and improve the skills of officers. 
 
The training programme seeks to qualify Drug Awareness officers in order to educate and raise awareness among mid and high school students, university students, youth, parents, civil society individuals and specialists. (EU Neighbourhood Info)
