EuroMeSCo is holding the 2023 Edition of the Annual Conference “From the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership to a Euro-Mediterranean Geostrategic Alliance” from October 9-11.

The event, hosted by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, will be an opportunity to reflect on how existing Euro-Mediterranean cooperation mechanisms and institutions could be adapting to a renewed cooperation of the EU with its southern neighbours to mitigate some of the socio-economic consequences (including in terms of food security) of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, offering the conditions for win-win partnerships between equals.

Participants are gathered in Madrid from October 9-11, including experts, EU policymakers, representatives from international institutions, and representatives from civil society and private sector organisations.
