European Commission publishes video to highlight International Partnerships priorities for 2020-2025

The European Commission has published a short video showing Jutta Urpilainen, the new EU Commissioner for International Partnerships, member of the new College of the Von der Leyen Commission which took office on 1 December 2019. Mrs Urpilainen is entrusted with the mission to lead the global efforts of the European Union and its Member States in international cooperation and development support.

She presents in this video the political priorities that will guide her work for the next 5 years, such as promoting the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring gender equality and empowerment of women and girls, and supporting civil society at global level.
