Tunisia First outreach event held to introduce programmes and instruments under the EU–Palestine Investment Platform
The European Union, in cooperation with the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized the first outreach event to introduce European financial programmes and instruments under the EU–Palestine Investment Platform. The event aimed to familiarize representatives of the Palestinian private sector with the funding opportunities offered through European and international financial programmes and tools, provided via Palestinian banks — to enhance access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises and support investments in sectors such as renewable energy, industry, and agriculture. The event brought together EU Head of Cooperation Mario Giuseppe Varrenti, other colleagues fro the EU REP office, Palestinian ministries, industrial unions, as well as Palestinian banks and private sector companies from across different fields. Through these meetings, the European Union reaffirms its commitment to supporting the Palestinian private sector and promoting sustainable economic development in Palestine.
