STORM project tackles the urgent need to improve energy efficiency in Mediterranean buildings, a major source of energy use and carbon emissions. By testing innovative seasonal thermal energy storage (STES) technologies through three full-scale pilots and a fourth demonstration, STORM will showcase the feasibility of reducing reliance on fossil-fuel-based heating and cooling systems, supporting the green and low-carbon transition. The project partnership consists of 6 partners from Lebanon, Jordan, Cyprus, Italy and Spain, and the project duration is 36 months.
