In a dynamic display of youth-led knowledge sharing, two EU Jeel Connectors from Libya recently co-hosted engaging online workshops, reaching young people across the Southern Neighbourhood with tools to connect, create, and grow.
Ghaith Allibi, an EU Jeel Connector, teamed up with Baraka Merzaia, a member of the InTheirEyes Community, to deliver Creating Content that Connects! — a session designed to empower young creatives through the power of storytelling. Drawing from their personal journeys as content creators across EU-supported networks, Ghaith and Baraka offered insights into how authentic narratives can spark dialogue and drive change. The workshop blended inspiration with practicality, offering participants concrete tips, reflections from previous campaigns, and examples from EU platforms to support them in producing content that resonates and engages.
Meanwhile, EU Jeel Connector Hawwa Altaeb led an interactive session focused on research thinking for young professionals. With a hands-on approach, Hawwa demonstrated how critical thinking can shape better decision-making, fuel innovation, and strengthen both personal and professional development. The session covered core areas such as practical research methods, applying research to real-life challenges, and navigating EU opportunities like Erasmus+ and the IBTIKAR programme, which support mobility, education, and innovation.
