The EU-supported Mediterranean Energy Regulators’ Association (MEDREG) has published a book on “Regulation & Investments in Energy Markets – Solutions for the Mediterranean”, that collects the most relevant contributions produced by the first MEDREG Forum and several additional interventions from Mediterranean energy experts and researchers.

The book presents detailed information on energy policy and regulation, key factors needed to tackle the energy efficiency challenges of the region. It contains a detailed overview of specificities and institutional frameworks in the region and provides recommendations from leading scholars and key players in energy policy research.

MEDREG is an Association that brings together energy regulators of 21 countries around the Mediterranean in order to promote a clear, stable and harmonised legal and regulatory framework through a continuous cooperation among the Northern, Southern and Eastern shores of the Mediterranean basin. MEDREG benefits from the support of the European Union and of the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER). (EU Neighbourhood Info)
