20 new beneficiaries are starting their training on MedTOWN social business incubator in Al Koura district, north of Jordan. They are mainly women, both Jordanian and Syrian refugees, and people with disabilities (PWD).

This group represents the halfway point of the first phase, being the third out of five, meaning that forty people have already participated since the incubator took off last March 2022, and two more groups will follow, until the 100 people selected would have been through the first phase of the demonstrative action.

Starting from the initial set of ideas for social businesses they pitched to be selected, now they are part of this training though awareness sessions and expert level training sessions, over an intense period of 19 days. They will improve by learning to collaborate between them & learn the benefits of co-production of social policies, while expanding their knowledge and skills and shaping their Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) projects in order to progress to the next step.
