Photo competition in Tunisia : art at the service of gender equality

In the framework of the 16-day activism to combat violence against women, the Programme of the promotion of equality between women and men – Moussawat – funded by the European Union, has launched a national photo, video and graphic design competition on the theme : “combating violence against women: everyone shares the responsibility”.

This competition aims at encouraging young people to think and reflect on gender through art, and more precisely on issues linked to violence against women. It primarily targets young amateur and professional talents in the arts and audiovisual sectors.

Applications must be sent before 20 November.

The Moussawat program is funded by the European Union in Tunisia. It aims to contribute to the achievement of equality between women and men in Tunisia by reducing inequalities at national, regional and local levels.
