Following the publication of D-Jil call for projects last month, 250 applications were received from projects of media content production.

30 projects will be pre-selected and will therefore take part in the following selection phase. North-African project representatives will gather in a hackathon in Tunis, Tunisia on 23-24 March, whereas Egyptian and Middle-Eastern ones will meet in another hackathon in Amman, Jordan, on 29-30 march.

Its overall objective is to contribute to the active citizenship and empowerment of young people in the target countries of the southern neighbourhood by using online media as a vector.
