In the framework of the EU-funded Med Dialogue for Rights and Equality, the second round of “10 Days for the Mediterranean” Common action is still ongoing in Egypt until December 2020. It is involving 4 Med Dialogue Leaders and focusing on the ecological challenges in the local communities, in partnership with the European Union in Egypt.

In this regard, from 7 to 16 November, Amin Osama, a 29-year-old coordinator of “Qus Baladna Cinema Club”, organised the 2nd edition of “Qus environment Days” in Qous (Egypt). This action promoted intellectual and psychological awareness of environmental issues and encourages youth to practice eco-friendly traditional crafts like pottery and Ferka.

“10 days for the Mediterranean” is a common action developed through a process of debate and capacity building for young leaders on the environmental and ecological challenges that threaten the Mediterranean region. This regional action is supported by Med Dialogue for Rights and Equality programme and funded by the European Union.
