The 5th International Border Management Conference took place in Amman, Jordan, on 23 and 24 November 2022. The Conference was organised by ICMPD.
Based on the principle of “joint leadership and shared responsibility,” the two-day conference explored the potential of border management as an enabler of partnerships, capacity, security and development and brought together a diversity of public and private actors within a host country where the safe and orderly movement of people and goods across borders is a high priority.
With over 150 registered attendees, the conference fostered a thorough exchange of views, ideas and demand-driven solutions to the challenges and opportunities of integrated border management.
