The National School of Engineering of Gafsa – ENIGafsa, represented by Safa Gammoudi, is participating in the hashtag #INNOVATILE project, a major initiative aimed at transforming ceramic tile manufacturing using innovative semi-wet granulation technology. This method significantly reduces energy consumption, CO₂ emissions, and the use of natural resources. This represents a concrete step towards more sustainable production, in line with the objectives of the energy transition and the circular economy.
Alongside ENIGafsa, European and Mediterranean partners:
• Jaume I University (Spain)
• Çanakkale Seramik and Çanakkale Teknopark (Turkey)
• Federico II University (Italy)
• Atlantis Environment and Innovation Ltd (Cyprus)
This partnership strengthens Tunisia’s position in the development of sustainable industrial solutions and promotes the transfer of technological know-how. The INNOVATILE initiative is part of the hashtag #Made4Med, an action of the Interreg Next Med program, a cross-border cooperation program funded by the EU.
