Across Morocco, EU Jeel Connectors are turning ideas into action—bringing skills, knowledge, and opportunity to local youth through innovative, youth-led events. Two recent initiatives led by Younes Baqadi and Wijdane Goubi exemplify this energy, each making a meaningful impact in their communities.

Younes Baqadi, EU Jeel Connector from Morocco, organised a 3-days event, focusing on content creation and perso-nal branding for the benefit of young people in the Souss-Massa region and Agadir city. The event included a public seminar for content creators to share their expe-rience, 5 practical workshops and a competition to win a five-month training with a digital agency in audiovisual production and marketing.

Meanwhile, Wijdane Goubi, an EU Jeel Connector also from Morocco, led the “Cybersecurity First, Digital Safety Always” workshop. The session featured vibrant interactions and focused on digital safety, addressing questions about online protection from malware and cyber threats. Participants learned practical strategies for safeguarding their data. They also shared personal experiences, enriching the discussion with real-life scenarios.

These initiatives are part of the EU Jeel Connect Network’s mission to empower youth across the Southern Neighbourhood with the tools and skills to lead in the digital age.
