The EU-Funded Project “Support to Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and De-institutionalisation with CSOs”, implemented by Expertise France, the French public agency for international technical assistance in partnership with the Ministry of Social Development (MoSD) has two specific objectives: to enhance the contribution of CSOs to Social Protection and to support the implementation of the De-institutionalisation Strategy for People with Disabilities with CSOs. In order to achieve these objectives, to support MoSD in fulfilling its mandate and the implementation of the National Social Protection Strategy, the Project will focus on:
- Promoting local partnerships and citizenship to deliver social services
- Providing tools to reinforce trust and cooperation
- Building capacity of stakeholders and fostering innovation
- Funding inclusive projects through a grant scheme.
The first call for proposals launched on this platform is dedicated to projects to be implemented in the Karak Governorate.
Proposals that reflect the needs of local communities in Karak in the aftermath of COVID-19 as a cross cutting theme are welcome.
