Are you a young graduate interested in international relations? Are you curious to learn more about work of a diplomatic mission and how the EU Delegation represents EU interests and values in Lebanon?
The EU Delegation offers a traineeship of up to 6 months within the Political Section, starting in May 2022.
Main tasks:
- Contribute to finding background material and drafting briefings on political, economic and other matters in Lebanon;
- Monitor and contribute to reporting on pertinent regional matters (incl. the border demarcation between Israel and Lebanon, relations with the Gulf countries, Iran, Turkey etc.);
- Assist in accompanying the work of the upcoming EU Election Observation Mission;
- Assist in preparing and accompanying incoming visits from HQ;
- Supporting in the preparations of events and field visits by EU Delegation staff;
- Participate in internal and external meetings & prepare minutes.
