Regional Structured Civil Society Dialogue in Southern Neighbourhood
The Norwegian Refugee Council ( NRC) is a member of the steering committee of the EU Commission’s Regional Structured Civil Society Dialogue in the Southern Neighbourhood. As part of this initiative, NRC in the Middle East and North Africa will contribute to discussions on migration, displacement and human mobility arising from climate change in the region.
Objectives
NRC will work with local partners through its new North Africa based Human Mobility Hub to facilitate dialogue on policy development and ensure local civil society participation in relevant discussions. NRC will also develop evidence-based analysis on legal protection and the impact of climate change on displacement affected contexts.
