The Ministers of Education of the member states of the Council of Europe, meeting in Strasbourg at the 26th session of the Standing Conference on 28-29 September 2023, decided to designate the year 2025 as the “European Year of Digital Citizenship Education”.
The digital environment and technologies provide unprecedented means for people to express themselves in various forms, to discover, learn and create, to communicate and socialise. The digital environment represents a space for people to gather and participate across the globe.
