This report presents the findings of the cross-country monitoring exercise of the priorities of the 5th Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) Ministerial Declaration on Employment and Labour conducted as part of its implementation. The UfM Ministerial Declaration was adopted in Marrakech in May 20221. It consolidates data provided by UfM Member States (UfM MS) participating voluntarily to the monitoring process, and offering an overview of employment policy trends, progress, and good practices. The monitoring exercise builds on the 2021 pilot monitoring exercise results. The revised UfM Monitoring Framework 2022–2025 incorporates lessons learned from the initial exercise and responds to the evolving needs of UfM MS as well as focused priorities of the 2022 UfM Ministerial Declaration. This includes the reorganisation of the UfM Monitoring Framework from four into three pillars in line with the latest Ministerial Declaration
