“This training changed my life completely”, says Waleed Sheta, an electrical engineer who has just set up a start-up specializing in carbon trading. The training that he completed in the framework of the MAIA-TAQA project by ENICBCMED opened many doors to this entrepreneur who now promotes the benefits of clean energy, carbon reduction, and the risks of water scarcity in climate-change-challenged Egypt. He reinvested his green skills practices in the start-up he founded with his partners whom he met during the training.
