Sana, a housewife and mother of two, chose a job not traditionally reserved for women. She is an established plumber. As a Jordanian citizen, living in precarious conditions, she benefited from a series of trainings as part of the European Union initiative’s in Technical Vocational and Educational Training EDU-Syria. Not only Sana found her way in plumbing, but she also acquired new skills, notably in accounting so she could manage better her expenses, become self-employed, and support her family.
