Ahmad Abou Hamdan

I am Ahmad Abou Hamdan, a Lebanese media professional passionate about storytelling that reflects people, not just headlines. I studied journalism and now work at Silat Wassel, an independent media platform amplifying voices from Lebanon and the Arab world.
I operate at the intersection of content, strategy, and advocacy, whether coordinating youth-led media projects, supporting investigative journalism, or training emerging storytellers.

Deeply committed to human rights and freedom of expression, I strive to create space for underrepresented voices and meaningful dialogue. I believe the media should do more than inform; it should connect, question, and inspire. As part of Media Connect, I look forward to growing within a community that values purpose, creativity, and integrity in journalism.

Media with purpose. Strategy with impact. Advocacy with heart. I believe in using words to build, ideas to move, and compassion to connect.
