Jawad Achablou

I am Jawad Achablou, a journalist, radio host, and musician from Morocco. I write daily articles and cover major events across the country through on-the-ground reporting.
My work has earned me the Grand Prize for Environmental Journalism in Morocco, and I was a finalist for the Tandem Awards in Brussels. I am also deeply interested in the intersection of media and artificial intelligence and regularly join discussions and conferences on its impact.

I create and publish short videos on Hit Radio and Radio Azawan, focusing on artistic and media topics, and manage the radio station’s social media accounts.
Beyond journalism, I pursue a musical career under the name JAWAD, blending Amazigh and Moroccan dialects with jazz and R&B influences.

If you’re not willing to risk the unusual, you’ll always settle for the ordinary.
