Ruba Awamleh

I am Ruba Al-Awamlah, a law graduate from Al-Balqa Applied University, I’m a youth activist in legal and human rights issues. I have worked as a legal researcher in the Jordanian Parliament and coordinator projects on women’s political participation. I am a leader in the Aspire Leadership Program at Harvard University, with a diploma from Amman Center for Human Rights Studies.

 

I have notable experience representing Jordanian youth in Uganda with the Afro-Arab Youth Council and ICESCO. As a coordinator for two years, I trained over 100 young women in political empowerment and local governance.

Additionally, I have volunteered for over three years with organizations such as the Independent Election Commission.

My career has been focused on enhancing legal culture and empowering youth and women with leadership skills for growth and achievement. Iam also passionate about cultural and artistic pursuits, from playing the kalimba to exploring French language.
