I am Yasmine, a feminist activist from rural Damascus and the founder of the Syrian Women’s Forum initiative. I hold degrees in Translation and Political Science with a focus on International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Damascus.
I completed a fellowship at KAICIID in 2023 and am an active member of the Young Peacebuilders Network with AUB and UN Women, as well as the Civil Society Support Group for the UN Special Envoy to Syria.
I have participated in dialogues in Geneva, Brussels, Beirut, Amman, and Tunis. My publications include “The Ghoul” and “Tales of Zizphons” on Syrian folklore.
