The Young Mediterranean Voices’ 2020 edition of the Communications Lab activity is taking place virtually from 7 to 11 December. The event is organised by the Anna Lindh Foundation, in partnership with the Center for Mediterranean Integration, on the occasion of the Germany’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The Lab focuses on the development of youth-led creative communication initiatives to challenge extremist narratives in the digital world.
The aim is to leverage youth-led dialogue and exchange to shape digital narratives. The group, formed by young influencers and civil society workers, from Europe and the Southern Mediterranean, will emerge from the workshop with a set of project campaign ideas which will be presented in a public online event on 11 December.
The ideas will be based on the dissemination of dynamic outreach materials and will contribute to the creative development of the programme. The public attending the online session will be asked to vote and together with expert’s feedback, the two best campaigns will be selected. These will receive support from the programme to be implemented.
The online event will be livestreamed on the Young Med Voice’s Facebook page.
The Anna Lindh Foundation for Inter-Cultural Dialogue promotes knowledge, mutual respect and inter-cultural dialogue between the people of the Euro-Mediterranean region, working through a network of more than 3,000 civil society organisations in 43 countries.
