EUPOL COPPS Train-of-Trainer’ programme aims at providing Palestinian Civil Police (PCP)’ officers with didactic skills and tools enabling them to develop and deliver effective and interactive training sessions to pass on know how to their colleagues on several topics, using communications techniques and digital tools, tailored for different learning styles. This is what EUPOL COPPS Senior Police Advisor on accountability, Daniel Hoodfman, from The Netherlands, discussed with his Palestinian colleagues from the PCP Bethlehem district on 17 December at their premises.
During the interactive session, Daniel discussed with the Palestinian colleagues on what makes a coach different from a facilitator, what a trainer should or should not do when speaking to an audience, what works and what doesn’t based on theory, but especially practice and real-life lessons learned.
