When Rana Salaheddin, Head of Gender and Human Rights Unit at Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC), attended a coaching session with EUPOL COPPS Gender Adviser, on August 14, in Ramallah, decided that integrating gender perspective into all aspects of her work would become the norm.

During the one-day coaching session, the Mission’s Swedish Gender Expert, provided Salaheddin and another two colleagues of her the tools to develop a comprehensive policy on gender mainstreaming into PACC’s work, one of EUPOL COPPS key interlocutors.

“The training provided by coach Morad on gender was a turning point in our work. We were able to transform theoretical knowledge into practical application, deepening our understanding of the importance of integrating gender perspective into all aspects of our work at PACC,” said Salaheddin, at the end of the coaching session.

“We look forward to continuing to build on this achievement and apply the knowledge gained to tackle future challenges, and we sincerely thank Tina for her valuable efforts,” she Rana Salaheddin.

The EUPOL COPPS Gender Advisor said that the coaching session focused on assessing the knowledge absorption of all accumulated trainings by the Mission, enabling knowledge transfer within the institution and harmonising gender mainstreaming practices and reporting in line with best practices.
