The EU-funded Support Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development South (ENPARD South Support Programme) has launched a new website with content in English and French.
The new portal, designed to be livelier and more interactive, seeks to act as an exchange platform on agriculture policies and the development of rural areas in the Mediterranean. It features several sections with information on the programme’s activities such as news, testimonials, publications and events as well as thematic and country-specific pages.
ENPARD has been designed to support the EU’s Southern Neighbourhood countries in their agricultural and rural development. The initiative aims to support the formulation and implementation of renewed public policies in order to meet the challenges of food security, diversification of rural economies and governance in agriculture and management of rural areas.
