Algeria: An EU-funded project helps companies to reduce resource consumption

In Algeria, the MED TEST II project (Transfer of Environmentally Sound Technology) which is part of the EU funded SwitchMed Programme, contributed to identify 192 measures of rational use of resources. This allowed 12 Algerian companies selected by the programme in the industry sector to save more than 2.6 million euros annually.

Turning challenges into opportunities and introducing innovative solutions that could reduce resource consumption, is at the core of the MED TEST II component.
