TunisiaAlgeria : EU funds conference on equal opportunities
The EU-funded Support Programme to training-job and qualification adequacy (AFEQ) has organised today a conference on the issue of equal opportunities at the University of Ouargla – UKMO.
The objective of this conference is to address issues related to gender analysis and inclusion of the gender dimension in the process of occupational integration of young graduate women.
It is to be noted that other conferences will take place in other pilot provinces, such as Algiers on 18 March and Oran on 19 March.
The Support Programme to training-job and qualification adequacy (AFEQ) is co-funded by the European Union (€10 million) and the Algerian government (€1 million). It aims at ensuring a better adequacy between training and employment through a better involvement of the companies in youth training and insertion. The programme will last 36 months.
