Cairo Water Week 2024 is finally underway! Experts and stakeholders gather to discuss “Water and Climate: Building Resilient Communities” and explore innovative solutions to the region’s water scarcity and climate challenges.
EU is pleased to take part once again in #cww2024
On 13 October, under the patronage of H.E President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, H.E Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Egypt’s Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, and the Head of the European Delegation to Egypt Ambassador Christian Berger launched the “Team Europe Initiative” to support green transformation in Egypt’s water and food security sectors.
The EU Green Facility aims to support structured policy dialogue between the EU and Egypt in the fields of energy, water and climate action, and is part of the Team Europe Initiative.
Team Europe Initiative on Integrated Water and Food addresses interlinked challenges of water and food security in Egypt by promoting sustainable agriculture, efficient water use and climate resilience.
