In the context of the EU co-funded SOLiD pilot project, CESE Maroc organised a two-day seminar on May 14th and 15th 2018 in Rabat. The chosen theme was: “For a renewal of Social Dialogue: what is the role of Economic and Social Councils, and Similar Institutions?”
Discussions revolved mainly around the working conditions and the transitions in the labor market, the renewal of social dialogue and its new fundamentals, and challenges of social responsibility of multinational firms in Jordan, Morocco and Tunisia.
The key speakers took stock of the progress and the magnitude of SOLiD and called for a second phase of this initiative.
