Civil Society Facility supports CSOs in Mashrek: workshop on managing projects, mobilising youth and managing volunteers

 The EU-funded Civil Society Facility (CSF) South has launched a Call for Application for its first capacity building workshop on ‘Managing Projects and change, Mobilising Youth and Managing Volunteers’. The workshop, to be held from 30 November – 3 December in Tunis, is designed to enhance the institutional capacity of CSOs in the Mashrek countries.

The workshop will:
  • introduce project management framework and explore how it can be used effectively to better structure policy design and implementation.
  • develop and promote networks and partnerships
  • apply project management techniques on planning, research, analysis, managing organizational boundaries, or working with stakeholders in the region.
The training will be delivered in Arabic and is open for about 25 participants working for CSOs from Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Israel, Jordan, and Egypt.

The Civil Society Facility South (CSF South) is an EU-funded regional programme launched in December 2012 with the aim of enhancing the effectiveness of EU cooperation with its Southern Mediterranean partners. It mainly aims at increasing the involvement of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and other non-state actors (NSAs) in sector policy dialogues at the level of partner countries by combining both national specificities and regional dynamics.
